About On Drop Rate

On Drop Rate helps you check roughly how long you'd need to grind for an item, and whether you're actually dry right now, or just feeling like it.

We're passionate OSRS players, grinding since the game's 2013 release across multiple accounts and every seasonal game mode along the way.

This vibe-coded project is built and maintained by us.

Greetings from Team On Drop Rate.

Additional information

During this grind you will also be making roughly 9,047,375 gp in total loot — about 1,887,024 gp per hour at 73 kills per hour. The biggest earner over that stretch is Smoke battlestaff at about 1,295,607 gp.

Each kill has a 0.2857% chance at Occult necklace. Half of all players get it within 243 kills, 805 kills covers 90%, and 1,610 kills covers 99% — so going past 350 kills without one is unlucky, but not unusual.

Loot values use live Grand Exchange prices and shift with the market.
