About On Drop Rate

On Drop Rate helps you check roughly how long you'd need to grind for an item, and whether you're actually dry right now, or just feeling like it.

We're passionate OSRS players, grinding since the game's 2013 release across multiple accounts and every seasonal game mode along the way.

This vibe-coded project is built and maintained by us.

Greetings from Team On Drop Rate.

The time to obtain Cow slippers at Brutus, if you are exactly on drop rate, will be 7 hours and 30 minutes with beginner gear, 2 hours and 30 minutes with average gear and 1 hour and 46 minutes in max gear. That is about 150 kills on average.

Additional information

During this grind you will also be making roughly 61,325 gp in total loot — about 24,530 gp per hour at 60 kills per hour. The biggest earner over that stretch is Raw t-bone steak at about 37,308 gp.

Each kill has a 0.6667% chance at Cow slippers. Half of all players get it within 104 kills, 345 kills covers 90%, and 689 kills covers 99% — so going past 150 kills without one is unlucky, but not unusual.

Loot values use live Grand Exchange prices and shift with the market.
