About On Drop Rate

On Drop Rate helps you check roughly how long you'd need to grind for an item, and whether you're actually dry right now, or just feeling like it.

We're passionate OSRS players, grinding since the game's 2013 release across multiple accounts and every seasonal game mode along the way.

This vibe-coded project is built and maintained by us.

Greetings from Team On Drop Rate.

The time to obtain Dharok's platebody at Barrows, if you are exactly on drop rate, will be 43 hours and 45 minutes with beginner gear, 31 hours and 49 minutes with average gear and 29 hours and 10 minutes in max gear. That is about 350 kills on average.

Customize your estimated kills per hour above to see your own time to be on drop rate.

Additional information

During this grind you will also be making roughly 12,434,244 gp in total loot — about 390,791 gp per hour at 11 kills per hour. The biggest earner over that stretch is Dharok's greataxe at about 1,709,517 gp.

Each kill has a 0.2857% chance at Dharok's platebody. Half of all players get it within 243 kills, 805 kills covers 90%, and 1,610 kills covers 99% — so going past 350 kills without one is unlucky, but not unusual.

Loot values use live Grand Exchange prices and shift with the market.
